Personality: Liona is the undisputed queen of the crop (at least, in her eyes). It's well known that Britannia Rose is the real leader, though that doesn't mean that Liona won't try to usurp the position. Thankfully, that's not often. It's her job to make sure that everyone behaves, and if anyone puts a hoof out of line, she'll make sure it gets back in line. Key To Winter is unfortunately the general target of Liona's ire, since she's the one who generally gets into trouble. She doesn't take fools lightly, whether they be horse or human. It's as if she has an air of disdain about her, as if it's beneath her to deal with others. She also admittedly, might be a bit spoiled. She's a horse who just has to get groomed every day, or else she'll pitch a fit. The one thing she hates about being groomed is getting her hooves picked out. It's not uncommon for her to kick out if someone touches her hooves. We're slowly working on getting her past that though. She's a big show-off, and loves getting her pictures taken. If she sees a camera, she'll stop whatever it is she's doing, and will pose as best as she can for it.
She needs a strong hand when ridden since she's won't hesitate to take advantage of someone whom she thinks doesn't know what they're doing. But she won't tolerate the whip either, and won't hesitate to try and get the rider off her back if she sees it, even if it isn't being used on her. She's a filly who needs to be in the front, who needs to prove that she's the best. She thinks herself as the queen, after all. She also isn't afraid of getting into a speed duel, even if it's at the start of the race, despite the rider's efforts. She loves to run and she'll fight against any effort to hold her back, even at the expense of losing the lead. To be fair, she generally doesn't listen to her rider at all, so our instructions are usually to just let her do her thing. Maybe not the best idea, but at least we get back a content horse at the end of the race, win or lose. If there's one thing she hates, it's the starting gates. It's a struggle every single time to get her in there and she'll start to fidget the seconds between the gates closing behind her, and the doors opening.
