Horse Pictured: Unique Bella
Personality: Anna is known around the barn as the trouble-maker. If anything goes wrong, it's a sure bet that she's behind it. She just gets into everything she can, or whatever piques her curiosity. She's a bit too curious for her own good, and thankfully she hasn't learned how to open doors, because it's a sure thing that she'd get out when she could. As it is, the staff have to make sure that she hasn't jumped over the fence every so often. She gets bored easily, which is probably the reason why she gets into things, even though she has plenty of company in the pasture and plenty of human interaction. But she's not a horse that's okay with doing the same task over and over again, so we try and switch up the day's activities every so often. If she's not working that day, she's taking a hack through the woods, or accompanying other horses to the track.
On the track, she's a sweetheart. She doesn't bother to put up a fuss in the gates, since usually it isn't too long before they open. She loves to show off for the crowds in the post parade and thankfully she doesn't seem to spook at the loud noises. It's during the race that issues tend to pop up. She's not a horse that can be alone at the front of the field, and she's not one that can stand to be behind the field. If she's alone up front, she gets distracted, despite the rider's best efforts. Blinkers do not help for her, as we've found out, and she hates them. So in the middle of the pack she runs, where there are other horses for her to focus on.
