Hat Trick
"Hatter"
G5 Dark Bay Colt
Born Y17
16.2 hh
Mr. Hat and Clogs [G3] X De-Lovely [M]
Horse Pictured: Flat Out
Personality: Hatter is a reserved horse, especially around those he doesn't really know well. It takes some time for him to get settled in a new place. He picks his people and will listen to him pretty well. Less so with those who he doesn't consider his people, so he's not exactly a push-button horse. He loves treats though, and it doesn't matter what kind or flavor. They're all good to him. His best friend at the stable is one of the barn cats, though he doesn't seem to care that much about the fact that they're not there when he goes to the races. It's a common sight to see him snoozing in his stall with the cat on his back.
He's a patient horse, willing to hang at the back of the pack before making his move. Dirt or mud in his face doesn't bother him like it would other horses. He just bears with it until he can get clear. He's not a horse that wants to go wide around the pack, but he will if he has to. He's more willing to go diving through holes in the pack, whether his rider wants him to or not. That's something that he won't let his rider decide, and once he does, the only thing the rider can do is hang on.
